  • Mentor, coach, and train the executive and/or development team.

  • Comprehensively build and manage goal-oriented and collaborative teams.

  • Develop, cultivate, and steward volunteer leadership.

  • Evaluate, consult, and advise on development team structure, processes, and functions.

  • Evaluate current team members' strengths and areas for growth.

  • Develop individualized professional development plans.

  • Build the development team's fundraising acumen.    

  • Consult on the Chief Development Officer search and engage in the interview process.

  • Orient and/or coach the new Chief Development Officer.
