I have learned how to be a fundraiser under the tutelage of Ruth Lederman, as an employee for 14 years, and as a colleague since. She has helped me to learn the role of fundraiser, as well as served as an example of how to manage relationships and see opportunities. She is a strategic and skilled Director of Development who is able to guide teams to accomplish an organization’s fundraising goals to serve their mission.

Her talents include all aspects of fundraising such as moves management, planned giving, event-based development and segmented mass marketing. She is proficient in data analytics using it to develop predictive strategies that grow campaigns, both unrestricted and targeted, capital and endowment. She is personable as a solicitor, approachable and supportive as a manager and wise as a friend.

She is at her best providing guidance, encouragement and supervision to teams of professional and volunteer leadership to assist them in understanding and progress in their capabilities to execute strategic fundraising plans.
